Food Corporation of India Outstanding/meritorious sportsperson Recruitment

Food Corporation of India (hereinafter termed Corporation), one of the largest Central Public Sector Undertakings, dealing with Food grain supply chain Management, intends to recruit outstanding/meritorious sports persons who have distinguished themselves in sports at State/National/International level in the following posts:

• Manager (General): Pay Scale of Rs.16400-40500/-
• Assistant Grade-I ( General): Pay Scale of Rs.11100-29950/-
• Assistant Grade-II ( General): Pay Scale of Rs.9900-25530/-
• Assistant Grade-III ( General): Pay Scale of Rs.9300-22940/-

Eligibility Criteria:

In any of the above disciplines stated in Table’B’, the person, in the year immediately preceding his application for recruitment in the Corporation should have represented

• A University in the Inter University Tournament conducted by the Inter University Sports Board; and / or
• A combined University team in the National and World Universiade International competition; and / or
• A State in the National competition; and / or
• The country in any International competition

Applying Method:

i) Application shall be neatly typed /filled in the prescribed format in A-4 Size paper.

ii) Attested Xerox copies of all the required documents in support of Age, qualification, sports achievement, caste etc. are to be attached with application form.

iii) Applications complete in all respects & duly signed by the applicant be placed in a sealed envelope.

iv) The envelope shall be super scribed with the words “APPLICATION FOR RECRUITMENT AGAINST SPORTS QUOTA”.

v) The envelope containing the applications may be sent to :-

vi) The applications should reach at above address by 29.4.2013.

vii) The applications reaching beyond the above mentioned last date will not be accepted.

viii) The Corporation will not be responsible for postal delay or delay due to any other reason.

The decision of FCI authorities in all matters related to acceptance or rejection of the application, mode of selection etc. will be final and binding to candidates.
